Blazegrass
Grass type: Annual (Grows the first year, flowers the second year, then dies)This short, orange-yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thin stalks grow in large clumps that are flimsy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, red spikelet.
During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for making strong rope
The sap is red.
