Bronze Succulent

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 41 feet (12.5 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 3 thick stems. Each stem is moss green, and is dotted with small bronze spines.

It is very fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with each petal a slightly different shade of white grows at the top, reappearing once every 9 years. The flower head is made up of many petals in raised layers. It has a faint scent that smells like pine needles.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the grey flesh is sticky, and the copper sap is thin and causes severe cramps if consumed.

It is suitable for making strong rope
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
