Crimson Grass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)This big, red grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The thick stalks grow in sparse patches that are light and frail.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, gentle yellow tuft.
During the late summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
The stems are covered in large spikes.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
