Copper Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This enormous vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,934 feet (894.3 meters) and growing as high as 334 feet (101.8 meters).

It takes 42 years for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3.0 feet (91 cm) and are tough and woody.

The perforated, smooth leaves reach up to 1.8 feet (56 cm) in length. They are either washed-out purple, or silver with copper dots, and have jagged edges.


It can survive a long time without water.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
The grains are bitter, but very healthy and overwhelmingly salty.
