Emerald Cactus
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This modest-sized cactus grows up to 44 feet (13.4 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 5 slender, pointed stems. Each stem is emerald, and is covered in copious amounts of flexible yellow spines.
It is steady-growing, taking 20 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are pink at the sides and grey at the center grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight tube. It has a weak scent that smells like a man.
The cactus's skin is thin, the brown flesh is sticky, and the lilac sap is thin and can cause blindness if consumed.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
