Silvergrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)This small, silver grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and tough and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, amber puff.
During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of large grains.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
