Silvergrass
Grass type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short, silver grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in large clumps that are resilient.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, magenta flower.
During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
Several parts of the flower have medicinal properties.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
