Indigo Grass

This big, orange grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in thick clumps that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, indigo spikelet.

During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of large grains.
