Crimson Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows, flowers and dies within one year)

This short, red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in extensive patches that are resistant and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, cream flower.

During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.

The seeds are toxic to people but not to certain animals.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It is suitable for making paper
