Bluevine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 26 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous stocky, straight stems covered in thick, rough, dark green bark, and the wood inside is yellow-brown.

The branches are very long, thin and wispy with thousands of twigs that and are covered with very large amounts of miniature, pleated, leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are solid brown with lilac zig-zags, resilient and sticky.

In mid-spring it produces a handful of tiny, sky blue flowers with umbrella-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have a powerful scent that smells like cinnamon.
