Golden Moor Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In moorlands, and In heathlands.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is overwhelmingly robust.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores.
