Yellow Puff Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This average-sized, brown grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in thick clumps that are flexible.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, yellow puff.
During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of tiny grains.
A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if cut.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
