Caramelgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Sheds its leaves in winter)This colossal, caramel grass grows up to 28 feet (8.5 meters) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in thin clumps that are flexible.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, olive tuft.
During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of large grains.
It is bio-luminescent.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
