Burgundy Grass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)This massive, burgundy grass grows up to 24 feet (7.3 meters) tall. The very thick stalks grow in large clumps that are durable.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, slate tuft.
During the early summer, it produces very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of small grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is said to be the favourite flower of a legendary person.
