Burgundy Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 41 feet (12.5 meters) and growing as high as 391 feet (119.2 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.
It takes 21 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are smooth and slick.
The sickle shaped, crispy leaves reach up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) in length. They are hazel at the bottom and turquoise with light grey edges at the top, and have serrated edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces a thick sheet of small pink flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a handful of tiny berries.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
