Orange Needle Conifer

Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short tree grows up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) tall and lives seemingly forever, with many known specimen being tens of thousands of years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a slender, straight trunk covered in paper-thin, wrinkled, dark brown bark, and inside, the very dense wood is gray.

The numerous branches are very long, thin and wispy, with hundreds of twigs covered with copious amounts of large, orange needles. The needles themselves are rigid.

In late summer it produces large, white, spiky-shelled seeds.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with grassy ground between them.
