Bronzeleaf Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This colossal leaf succulent grows up to 136 feet (41.5 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is slate, and is covered in thousands of rigid bronze spines. The finger-like leaves are found in peach, brown and bronze varieties. Small bunches of them grow on thin, lime green branches that are long and thin. The leaves are sturdy, but easily come away when pulled.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are red on the underside and dark brown on the top grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a cube with 25 raised, round-tipped petals. It has no scent.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the ashy blue flesh is sticky, and the dark brown sap is thin.

It can survive a long time without water.
