Coppergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very narrow and elongated stalks grow in sparse patches that are strong and tough and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, slate puff.
During the late summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if cut.
