Emerald

This moss green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In moorlands, and In damp forests.
It is average-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly robust; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release thousands of spores.
