Emerald

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In heathlands, In rainy mountain ranges, and In bogs.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is overwhelmingly sturdy.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
