Silverbell
Flower type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)This average-sized flower grows up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) tall. Its silver stem is very thin and splits into 9 branching stems three quarters of the way up, and the miniature, deep orange leaves are wispy with wavy edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.
Each stem splits 2 to 7 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 8 cm (3.1 inches) wide, with petals that are yellow on the edges and florescent green at the center. The flower head is shaped like a tube with 31 widely spaced, narrow petals. They are sturdy.
It has the faintest scent that smells like vomit, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
It is suitable for making paper
It blooms only at night.
