Shrub type: Coniferous (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This average-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 35 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.
It has many flexible, twisting stems covered in ridged, gray bark, and the wood inside is pale brown.
The branches trail down towards the ground with thousands of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of small, asymmetrical, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are slate and copper, rigid and covered in fine hairs.
It produces copious amounts of medium-sized, grey flowers with asymmetrical petals. They are sturdy and have a weak scent that smells like faeces. In mid-summer it forms largebronze, winged seeds that float and land far away.
It is suitable for making strong rope
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
