Brown Moss

This brown moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In rainforests.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly durable.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
