Ambergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)This short, emerald grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in large clumps that are durable and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, amber tail.
During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few tiny grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
