Aquamarine Succulent
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This small leaf succulent grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The spear shaped stem is orange, and is covered in thick sheets of fine, gentle green, hair-like spines. The jagged-edged, sickle shaped leaves are grey with aquamarine tips. Large amounts of them grow from the base in alternating pairs. The leaves are delicate, but easily come away when pulled.
It is slow growing, taking 35 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with lime petals on the lower layer and lime petals decorated with crimson dots on the inner layer. The central disk is cream, grow at the top, reappearing once every 10 years. The flower head is largely flat with 42 tightly layered round-tipped petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like a damp log.
The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the copper flesh is smooth, and the hazel sap is thin and causes diarrhea if consumed.
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
It can survive a very long time without water.
