Emerald Clump Moss

This moss green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In marshes, and On rotten logs.
It is average-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is extremely delicate.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
