Violet Oasis

This short flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its light purple or violet stem is very thin and straight, and the giant, red leaves are circular with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

1 to 3 giant flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 14 cm (5.5 inches) wide, with petals that are blue at the sides and dark yellow at the center. The flower head is largely flat with 15 raised narrow petals. They are hardy.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like cheese, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
