Redwater Lily

Flower type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This small flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its vibrant red stem is thick, and the huge, brown leaves are very thick with serrated edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Lots of giant flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of azure. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals in raised layers. They are hardy.

It has a mildly strong scent that smells like sweat, and it has very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is visited by a large variety of them.


It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
