Clinging Emerald Vine

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This giant flower grows up to 14.8 feet (4.5 meters) tall. Its moss green stem is thick, and the large, emerald leaves are wispy with jagged edges. 10 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Each stem splits 3 to 7 times; a single large flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 50 cm (19.7 inches) wide, with petals that are amber in the center, olive in the middle and black at the edges. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 curved petals. They detach easily.

It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like old shoes, and it has excessive amounts of pollen. It is a self-pollinator.
