Clinging Spikegrass

This small, lime green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thick stalks grow in small clumps that are strong and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, lime spikelet.

During the late summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
