Copperbloom
Shrub type: Deciduous (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 96 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has many branched, curved stems covered in hard, wrinkled, light gray bark, and the wood inside is pale brown-grey.
The branches trail down towards the ground that and are covered with small amounts of large, stiff, pointed, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are pale red and lime, delicate and smooth.
In late spring it produces many balls of medium-sized, copper flowers with needle-like petals. They are hardy and have an overpowering scent that smells like coffee.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
