Clinging Ambergrass

This huge, pink-red grass grows up to 14 feet (4.3 meters) tall. The thick stalks grow in thin clumps that are rigid and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, amber puff.

During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of giant grains.
