Giant Reedgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)This huge, lime green grass grows up to 21 feet (6.4 meters) tall. The perforated stalks grow in thick clumps that are delicate.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, beige tuft.
During the early summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
