Climbing Indigovine

This short vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 7 feet (2.1 meters) and growing as high as 927 feet (282.5 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 2 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and woody.

The perforated, fuzzy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are olive on the sides and indigo at the center, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of average aquamarine flowers.
