Clinging Olive Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The circular stalks grow in thick clumps that are flimsy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, olive tuft.

During the early winter, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
