Silverbell

Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) tall. Its silver and yellow stems grow in bunches of 4 and are very thick with a curved tip, and the large, silver and yellow leaves are thin with wavy edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Two small flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with petals that are generally florescent red; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is shaped like a dish made up of handfuls of raised, round-tipped petals. They are sturdy.

It has no scent, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects , but only one species in particular.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
